This website's URL came up for renewal recently, and I debated just letting it go. I realize that even though I'm not around here all that much some of you are, so I renewed for another year.
In the last couple of months, however, the e107 CMS that I built this site on became vulnerable to attack, and caused all the websites on my server to suffer a defacement script uploaded by some Turkish douche-bag. As you might imagine, this caused some issues for my clients.
Though I was able to rectify the problem rather quickly, I've had enough of e107, so I'll be changing this website over to something else. As a matter of fact, given how little functionality we actually need from a website these days, I may just throw up a phpBB3 forum to act as our whole site.
If anyone has questions or ideas on the topic, please let me know. [ image disabled ]
What are the main difference between the 2 website types? How will it affect us? When will the transition likely occur? It is far better to be respected and trusted, than to be liked. - Stephen R Covey
